The health index, month by month

Every figure Huurindex uses, as Statbel publishes them. Look up the month before the anniversary (new figure) and the month of your starting index.

SourceStatbel: health index

Statbel publishes the health index in several base years. Always use the same base for the starting index and the new index. Huurindex calculates in base 2013 = 100 by default: the worked examples and correction factors of Flanders and Brussels are in that base (we recalculated them). In base 2025 = 100 the result may differ by a few cents, because each base is rounded to two decimals.

Figures with more than two decimals were converted by Statbel from an older base; we show them as they are in the file. If a figure isn't published yet, the calculator asks you to enter it yourself.
